Dreamlinux is a Linux distribution based on Debian. It can boot as a live CD or can be installed on a computer's internal hard drive. The distribution's GUI has a strong similarity to that of Apple's Mac OS X, with a centered toolbar animated. Dreamlinux Desktop Edition 3.5 features a complete redesign and is the current version of the distro. It now supports a totally independent architecture named Flexiboost, based on overlaid modules. The feature allows the co-existence of two (or more) separate window managers (currently Gnome and Xfce), sharing the same customized appearance. Both working environment share all the applications available. New features include Gthumb, Pidgin instant messenger, Ndiswrapper module and WineQ + Wine Doors installer. Other features include improved DreamLinux control panel, easy install of applications, theme switching and new themes, wallpapers and icons.
