Parted Magic is a live CD with its elemental purpose being to partition hard drives. Although VisParted and Parted are the main programs, the CD also offers other applications, such as Partition Image, TestDisk, fdisk, sfdisk, dd, ddrescue, etc. This new release of Parted Magic has the most aggressive changelog of any release to date. Almost everything has been updated and redesigned while doing our best to maintain the same user interface. The most significant changes are the additions of HAL and dbus, new Xorg server, basic wireless detection, FireFTP, udpcast, Linux-2.6.35.3, and many other updated and new programs. Parted Magic also has a new GRUB version of the iso and the USB version is GRUB-ready. People have been asking for a "Save Session" function and we added it.
